it makes me really angry when people say bad things about teenage girls who get pregnant

most of the time it’s not on purpose, and it upsets me when people say they’re all awful parents and they’re disgusting people

because i know two girls my age who had kids when they were 16, and they love their kids more than anything, and they’re both just the sweetest girls, and they’re really working hard, and they’re going to graduate with the rest of their respective classes, which is more than a lot of teen moms get the opportunity to do, and it’s just askdjalkj

they’re good moms

they care about and love their kids and it’s really mean for people to say they’re sluts and they’re disgusting girls, because they’re really not

plus, my mom had her first kid when she was a senior in high schoool; she was 17

she dropped out, left her abusive boyfriend, had her kid, got a job waitressing until she got her GED, went to college, and went on to work a six figure job

having a kid when she’s a teenager isn’t an indicator of someone’s character or the person she becomes

it’s just really awful to me when people say means things about girls who get pregnant without really knowing them, i don’t know
